FLEX TIME: The blending of paid vacation, personal days and sick days
based upon the employment status of the
Associate. An associate who has one full calendar year of service at
the hotel, and promoted to full-time status, will be given twelve paid
days off during the next calendar year. Full-time Associates with two
full calendar years of service will be given seventeen paid days off
during the next calendar year of service. Full-time Associates with
five or more years of service will be given twenty-two paid days off
during the next calendar year and all future years.
MEDICAL INSURANCE: Blue Cross Blue Shield - major medical and dental
insurance package offered to all Full Time Associates.
LIFE INSURANCE: With the above medical plan, the company pays the life
insurance based on years of service
1-3 years: $10,000 3-5 years: $15,000
5-7 years: $20,000 7+ years: $25,000
PAYROLL PERIOD: Monday - Sunday
PAYDAY: Every two weeks on Friday
UNIFORM: All Associates are directed to wear the proper uniform while
on duty - including their name tag.
JURY DUTY: An unpaid leave will be authorized to any Associate called
for jury duty. If the jury pay does not equal the Associate’s regular
pay, the Inn will make up the difference.
SCHEDULES: Schedules are posted on Monday for the following week.
STAR PROGRAM: Rewards of stars and bonds to Associates as they
progress through the program when they are recognized by the guests or
co-Associates for superior service.
PRESIDENT’S CLUB: An exclusive club formed for those members who
complete the Star Program. At completion, the winners receive a weekend
for two at any Inn Serve property which includes an evening dinner for
two each night.
CHRISTMAS DAY: Associates who work Christmas Day (defined as 12:00 A.M.
To 12:00 P.M.) will be paid double time.
CHRISTMAS: All Associates, full time and part time, will receive a
$50.00 cash gift for Christmas.
PROFIT SHARING: All Associates who work over 1,000 hours per year are
automatically members. Contributions up to 5% of annual salary are made
by the company. One is fully vested in seven years.
CREDIT UNION: All Associates may elect to participate in Associates
Saving Association after 90 days employment.
RECOGNITION OF SERVICE: Recognition for years of service at an Awards
Program held once a year. Special recognition at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and
30 years with cash, a watch, 3 and 5 day trips.
FREE LODGING: One complimentary room at any Inn Serve operated hotel
with General Manager’s approval.
ASSOCIATE COMMITTEE: Elected by the Associates, this committee plans
the Christmas dinner, Children’s Breakfast with Santa and remembering
the sick and bereaved. Funds come from the profits of the drink
machines on property.
SAFETY COMMITTEE: A committee composed of the Associates of the
property who are concerned about the safety of the guests and the
Associates. They are paid for attending monthly meetings. And, if their
property wins in the competition, all Full time Associates at that
Property and the Committee receive a monetary award.
HIRING AND MENTORING PROGRAM: Any current full or part time Associate
can earn a bonus for referral of new Associates who are hired and
complete the training and probationary program.
IMPROVING JOB SKILLS: Any Associate who is interested in taking
courses relating to their work may do so, with the approval of the
General Manager. Upon satisfactory completion of the course, their
tuition will be refunded to them.
DRUG FREE & SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT: The use of nicotine among the
Associates is discouraged and drug
testing is required of all applicants to ensure a drug free and smoke
free working environment. |
